The Log House
Adirondack Vacations at The Log House: Walking into The Log
House at Garnet Hill Lodge you're greeted by the spaciousness of a great hotel, the
warmth of a rustic Adirondack mountain lodge, and the friendly charm of your favorite
country inn. Once inside you're drawn to the front windows and a magnificent lake
and mountain view, or to the huge stone hearth and the welcoming cheer of an ever-burning
fire. The garnet stone fireplace is ringed with
rocking chairs and couches. Some guests have been known to spend their entire stay right here, curled up with their favorite
novel. The large main room in the Log House contains the reception desk and the
main dining room at Garnet Hill. Off this main room are two other lounges, a TV room, and
a four sesson dinning porch. Upstairs are sixteen guest rooms, all with private baths.
Nine of the front rooms have balconies and grand view of the lake and mountains beyond.

The Birches
A short walk from the Log House is The Birches. The Birches
is nestled in a picturesque grove of white birch trees and has five large guest rooms.
These rooms can accommodate up to six people and are great for family groups. There is
also a common room and a delightful outside deck. One room in the Birches has a gas
fireplace. Direct TV is is in all the Birches rooms.

The Tea House
A short walk downhill from the Birches is the Tea House. The Tea House is Garnet
Hill newest building and contains four guest rooms. These well appointed guest
rooms have king size beds, whirlpool bath tubs, air conditioning and Direct TV.

Rental Houses and Adirondack Vacation Homes
Driving up to Garnet Hill Lodge, you will pass a number of attractive Adirondack vacation
homes and mountain chalets along Thirteenth Lake Road and on some of the other roads in
the area. Most of these houses and mountain chalets are part of the vacation home
community at Garnet Hill, and many of them are available to rent. Garnet Hill Lodge acts
as a rental agent for a number of the homes.
Many of the homes have terrific forest and
mountainside views and have two to four bedrooms, sleeping 4 to 12 people. Most
Adirondack homes and mountain chalets have washers, dryers, microwaves, TV's and
