The Log House Restaurant and Preuninger's Pub

The restaurant and pub at Garnet Hill Lodge have been revitalized and enhanced like never before.  We are very pleased and proud to have Andrew Bulmer as our Executive Chef.  Widely acknowledged as the best chef under former owner George Heim, Chef Andrew has  designed a wonderful menu that will satisfy the most demanding taste and yet not offend the wallet.

The main dining room has been redecorated and arranged to accommodate guests in a warm, intimate environment centered around the fireplace.  Our well appointed tables and gracious service will make you feel pampered and special every time.

Preuninger's, our cozy pub, named after owner Don Preuninger, is open and serving a variety of beer and mixed drinks along with Mindy's balanced selection of fine wines, specialty coffees and dessert drinks to round out a satisfying dinner after an exciting day.

For January 29th through February 4th, Garnet Hill Lodge will be participating in Restaurant Week sponsored by Gore Mountain Ski Center.  

Restaurant Week Menu

Sun 1/29 -- Trout Almandine -- $15.95 – sautéed and finished with a toasted almond Amaretto Sauce

Mon 1/30 -- Merchant’s Chicken -- $14.95 – a sautéed breast of chicken in a Balsamic vinegar cream sauce with Kalamata olives and roasted garlic cloves.

Tues 1/31 -- Tamarack Salmon -- $16.95 – a pan seared filet with a roasted almond crust and a Dijon aioli.

Wed 2/1 -- Pork Braciole -- $15.95 – thinly sliced pork loin stuffed with a crimini mushroom chevre blend in a hearty Marinara

Thurs 2/2 -- Silver City Sirloin Quesadilla -- $16.95 – an 8oz. NY strip steak sliced and wrapped in a Jalapeno tortilla with cheddar Jack and served with black beans and rice.

Fri 2/3 -- Haddock Your Way -- $14.95 – filet of Haddock offered three different ways; breaded, battered or oven broiled served with cole slaw and warm German potato salad.

Sat 2/4  -- Restaurant Week Wind-up Prix Fix menu -- $19.95 – includes choice of soup or salad, entrée, and Mary Jane’s Pie, tax and gratuity additional. Seating is from 5 to 6:00 p.m.  Reservations requested.  Choice of Merchant Chicken, Tamarack Salmon or Pork Braciole.
