Directions to Garnet Hill Lodge and Vacation Center in the Adirondacks

Garnet Hill is located in the Central Adirondacks, 2 hours drive from Albany, Utica, and Plattsburg, N.Y., and approximately 5 hours from New York City.

Auto: From the South, Albany and NYC take I-87 to exit 23 at Warrensburg, then Rt. 9 to Rt. 28 to North River. Northern travelers can exit I-87 at Pottersville, exit 26. From here follow signs to Gore Mt. and North Creek. Garnet Hill Lodge is located off Rt. 28 in North River left on Thirteenth Lake Road, 5 miles.

Bus: Adirondack Trailways to Warrensburg.

Train: Amtrak service to Saratoga Springs, N.Y.   Saratoga North Creek Railway - Saratoga to North Creek 877-726-7245.  Free Shuttle to and from Lodge.  (Check train site for availability)

Transportation from Warrensburg, Chestertown or Saratoga to Garnet Hill can be scheduled through Brant Lake Taxi and Transport (518) 494 2507. Advance reservations are required.

Air: Albany, N.Y. - rental cars available at the airport.
