Perseid Meteor Shower at Garnet Hill Lodge

Garnet Hill is the perfect location to view the perseid meteor shower. Our remote location without the light pollution of urban areas will enhance the number and brightness of the meteors.

October 15-29 is when amatuer astronomers (and other interested persons) will be looking to the east near Orion to see the Orionid meteor shower. Orion is the hunter with the three stars marking his belt; look up toward the left. The Taurid Meteor showers begin October 20 through the end of November.

Best Time for viewing is obviously after dark.
