The Birches The Birches, decorated in true Adirondack style, is nestled in a picturesque grove of white birch trees and has five large guest rooms. These rooms can accommodate up to six people each and are great for family groups. There is also a common room, full kitchen and a delightful outside deck. One room in the Birches has a gas fireplace. Direct TV satellite service is is in all the Birches rooms.
The Tea House Just downhill from the Birches is the Tea House. The Tea House is the newest building on the Garnet Hill campus and contains four guest rooms. More modern than some of the other houses, the Tea House still preserves it's Adirondack flavor. These well appointed guest rooms have king size beds, whirlpool bath tubs, air conditioning, a kitchenette and Direct TV. Access to some of the most popular area hiking trails is within a short walk from the Tea House.
Houses Near Garnet Hill Campus:
The Owl's Nest Authentic Adirondack great camp built 70+ years ago by architect John Bird Burnham, this camp was designed for maximum privacy and makes the perfect family hide out. It is securely nestled within tall pine trees at the end of a long windy mountain lane. This log cabin has a large front porch overlooking the mountains. The main family room is anchored by a large garnet fireplace. There are five spacious bedrooms each with access to a full bathroom and can easily accommodate 20 people. There is a full kitchen as well. This log home has been fully restored to preserve all its original features. It is comfortable and spacious. There is a private studio a short distance from the main house that can be rented for an additional fee. (see below for complete description). Enjoy a true historic gem. This is the first time that it is available to the public for rental. The Owls Nest has public access to 13th Lake which is a beautiful crystal clear lake ideal for swimming and canoeing. This is a great lake for fishing and boating. The Roost This studio, designed similarly to the Owls' Nest, has one bedroom with private bath and sitting area. With a 180 degree view of the mountains, it's a perfect get-away for a couple or family of four.  The Roost has public access to 13th Lake which is a beautiful crystal clear lake ideal for swimming and canoeing.
