The Outdoor Center is a year round activity hub for wilderness adventure. The friendly and well informed staff will help you along with any of your outdoor adventures, be it paddling, hiking, mountain biking, back country or on piste skiing, snowshoeing and more. Above the retail and rental facility you’ll find the Bobcat Lounge, a perfect place to relax and have lunch or enjoy a glass of wine or beer and soak in the true après-ski experience. Cross-country skiing is an outdoor sport that can be safely practiced at a distance and we are committed to doing our best to offer outdoor enthusiasts plenty of fun this winter. We’re not sure about all the details of how operations are going to function at Garnet Hill Outdoor Center this winter, as it will continually be evolving. However, our 50+ kilometer trail network will be open as usual offering skiing to both season pass holders and day users from select safe states in accordance with New York State guidelines. Hiking, Biking and Paddling. With our boat launch, trail systems and access to the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area, the Garnet Hill Outdoor Center offers a spectacular starting point for outdoor sports.
Book a fishing trip, join a workshop or take on the rapids of the Hudson River at the height of its power. Enjoy versatile sports on our trails as we transition from snowshoeing to mountain biking and hiking.
We invite you to come on up for some mountain biking or hiking. Our trails are open free of charge and mountain bikes are available to rent. For lodging guests, canoe, kayak and paddle board equipment is also available.
