Enjoy breakfast at Garnet Hill Lodge (included in your room) and then head out to meet your guide. All fishing gear can be provided with the exception of waders. Fish all day in some of the Adirondack’s best spots, such as Thirteenth Lake, the Hudson River and Peaked Pond, and benefit from the experience of local pros. Each tour can be customized to guests skill set and preferences, and can include both fly fishing and spinning.
At the end of the day, come back to Garnet Hill Lodge, relax by the fire, enjoy a drink in the pub and enjoy hearty American cuisine while you look out over the Adirondack Mountains and 13th Lake below. Our rooms are comfortable and elegant with plenty of rustic charm, allowing you to experience an authentic Adirondack excursion alongside the benefits of our unique hotel and restaurant.
The most successful trout fishing here in the Adirondacks starts when the ice has melted in mid to late April and lasts through to the end of June. When the flies are biting, so are the fish! To ensure the availability of guides, we request that you give us as much advance notice as possible when booking a guiding trip, but trips must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
