Situated on 175 beautiful acres, surrounded by thousands of acres of protected wilderness and overlooking pristine Thirteenth lake, Garnet Hill is the perfect setting for a wedding in any season.
Wedding parties at the lodge reserve the entire inn for two nights of the special weekend to include the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and reception, and through to the send-off late breakfast the following morning. This allows the entire wedding party and guests to enjoy a true Adirondack experience all weekend.
The staff at Garnet Hill are dedicated to providing a truly memorable weekend, from Friday night events to the departing breakfast, our warm and friendly team is at your service. We make it easy for you to enjoy the event of your dreams and your guests will love their experience here.
We can accommodate a wedding and reception for up to 120 people. In peak wedding season, minimum capacity requirements may be in effect.
Festivities begin with guests arriving Friday afternoon to discover the resort’s many outdoor activities (canoeing, tennis, beach, hiking, biking, etc.) or to relax in one of the inn’s many quiet corners.
The celebration continues Friday evening with a rehearsal/welcome dinner. There are many possibilities at Garnet Hill to create unique rehearsal dinners. Options include a barbecue, plentiful buffet style dinner on the front porch, or a sit down dinner in front of the fireplace.
After a hearty country breakfast Saturday morning, guests are free to indulge in more of the resort’s activities or explore the local surroundings.
Organize a casual event featuring a sandwich buffet or a more formally catered affair. This is the perfect way to keep the afternoon special, yet low key as you get ready for the big moment. We also offer bagged lunches if your guests would like to use this time to set off on an adventure or enjoy the lake.
A champagne toast to the bride and groom with the sun setting in the horizon is the perfect way to begin the evening’s festivities. After all of the traditional photo ops, guests continue the celebration with dinner and dancing to the beat of a live band or DJ.
Sunday breakfast, served a little bit later than the usual breakfast, is the ideal time for the guests to congratulate the new bride and groom and to bid farewell before departing.
