Whitewater Rafting

A Whitewater Rafting Trip for Two – A whitewater rafting trip through the Hudson River Gorge is rafting at its best. From early spring through summer, scheduled water releases from the Lake Abanakee dam make the seventeen-mile wilderness run the longest stretch of whitewater in New York. Early spring rafting is ideal for those who are looking for a thrill as melting snow and ice rushes through the Gorge, creating plenty of white water.  In late spring, the trip is a bit calmer making it accessible for a wider range of adventure seekers.
