“This has really been one of the best Junes we’ve had,” says Jamie Fisher of the weather last month. You really can’t ask for better weather for camping and paddling trips than when it’s warm during the day and cool and breezy at night so that you are comfortable in the tent. This past week’s trips included a 2-night/3-day camping trip to Round Pond, where the group spend their days paddling and fishing in canoes and kayaks and camped at night beside the lake. The sunrises and sunsets over the lake are peaceful and spectacular.
He and his guides also took clients out for some Bass fishing trips to Schroon Lake, some Trout fishing in our own 13th Lake and some wading in Hudson River and Indian River. He tailors the trips to each group’s interests, so “it’s really up to the clients to choose what they what to do,” he says. One thing seems to be certain, they catch some nice fish and have a good time doing it!
