We’re fortunate to have an elaborate mountain biking trail system┬áthat consists of meticulously maintained trails.

We recently added 5 miles of new single-track biking trails in the Log House Area – this is in addition to the existing network of single-track tracks. All trails have been created to the highest standards, and are Wilderness Property Management approved.

A full fleet of mountain bike rentals is available at the Outdoor Center:

  • Full day mountain bike rentals cost $50/day, or $30/half day
  • Lodge guests get 20% off bike rentals, coming to $40/full day or $24/half day
  • Kids bike rentals are $25/day, $15/half day, and for lodge guests $20/full day, free for a half day

We also have a demo (full suspension) bike available at $75/day or $40/half day.

Lodge guest discounts are only available for the traditional mountain bikes.

Helmets are provided, and close-toed shoes are required.

Choose Your Trails: Beginner, Intermediate or Difficult

Our biking trail system includes beginner, intermediate, and difficult trails you can check out on the map beforehand, to plan out your route. If you’re not sure where to start, our staff is happy to make recommendations for you based on your experience and skill level.

Some of the trails feature views of the High Peaks, while others take you through a serene, wooded setting, so you’ll get a great variety!

For experienced cyclists looking for a backcountry adventure, the peaks and valleys near the lodge are perfect for off-road fat tire biking or extreme cycling; we have a limited number of fat tire bike rentals available. For this outing, we suggest bringing a light picnic lunch with you to enjoy at one of the natural overlooks in the area.
