Sunset Snowshoe Tour – March 23

Winter is still in full swing this weekend.  With fresh snow on the ground today and snow showers predicted to last through to Saturday morning, it is likely to be a beautiful ski weekend.  The Bobcat Lounge will be open for lunch on Saturday and Sunday as usual, as well as Apres Ski on Saturday afternoon.  The sunset snowshoe tour leaves at 5:30pm on Saturday evening from the outdoor center and will be followed by fondu and a glass of beer or wine in the Log House upon completion of the tour.  Should be an absolutely beautiful evening.

Gore Mountain Is Still Going Strong

Looking to ski at Gore one more time this season?  Go ahead and get up there!  Like us they got 4-5″ of fresh snow on Friday and the winter storm watch continues into Saturday morning.   Check out current conditions.

Early Spring Fun

Fat Biking at Garnet Hill Outdoor Center

While the ski season will officially end on April 6, we do not expect the snow to be gone until later in the month.  In the meantime, fat bikers, snowshoers and cross country skiers can enjoy all 55km of Garnet Hill trails at off-season prices…that is to say FREE!  Fat bikes are available to rent from the front desk of the Log House when the Outdoor Center is not open. This is also prime season for whitewater rafting.  Best for those who are looking for a wild ride, the whitewater rafting season opens the first weekend in April, taking advantage of high water levels due to the melting snow.  Learn more about early Spring activities at and around Garnet Hill.

Easter Weekend at Garnet Hill

Join us for a delicious Easter brunch buffet on Sunday, April 21 from 11am to 3pm.   Price is $26 for adults and $13 children 12 and under.  Before brunch, work up an appetite with a snowshoe or hiking tour.  Hiking or snowshoe tours will be offered each day of Easter weekend.  Call (518) 251-2444 for brunch reservations.
