Join a Trip this March

Join us on Saturday, March 17 and Saturday, March 24 for two fantastic day trips led by our Garnet Hill Guides. 

These trips are included in the cost of your stay, and include a packed lunch.  Ski rentals are available and snowshoe rentals are included free of charge for our guests and $25 for non-guests.

Both of these trips are appropriate for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowshoers due to the length of the trips, and may be subject to change due to weather and conditions.  We are making flexible plans and will take our cues from nature.  Whether we are skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking with spikes, it should be a great day out!  Please sign up with our front desk staff or add the trip to your stay when booking online.  As much advance notice as possible is appreciated.

Saturday, March 17 – Backcountry Ski Trip

Join us for a fantastic day trip.  The trail selection will be dependent on weather and trail conditions, however options for this trip include Camp Santanoni, Moxham Mountain or the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area, and you should expect to travel about 10 miles.  We will take a shuttle to the trail head and eat a bag lunch (provided by Garnet Hill) on the trails.

Saturday, March 24 – Ski to Great Camp Santanoni

Join us for a fantastic trip to Great Camp Santanoni.  Meet at the ski shop at 8:30am for a 9am departure.  The trip down the old carriage road to Camp Santanoni is 5 miles in and 5 miles out.  We will eat lunch as we explore the beautiful old camp in the middle of the wilderness.  The terrain is mostly gentle ups and downs, but the trip is appropriate for intermediate to advanced skiers due to the distance.  Let us know your choice of ham, turkey or veggie and cheese sandwich when you sign up for the trip.  Call the front desk at (518) 251-2444 to let them know you are coming.  This trip is free to guests and $25 for non-guests.
